Pierre Jeanneret was born in Geneva in 1896 and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts. For most of his life he worked alongside his cousin Le Corbusier. The importance of Jeanneret’s contribution was increasingly recognized, and the 1926 manifesto Five Points Towards A New Architecture is seen as the foundation of Jeanneret and Le Corbusier’s legendary careers.
