In collaboration with the City of Miami, 1814 Brickell Park was designed to be a community gathering space in the Highend Miami neighborhood of Brickell. The park was conceived from the desire to cater to a variety of user types in the neighborhood, from the business women in high heels, the mom with her stroller, or the father playing a game of soccer. An elevated lawn flanked by an allee of Magnolia trees is central to the design, providing a calm area for reading. On either side of the central lawn, grassed Play areas provide spaces for a playground and a field for open play. The entrance of the area is paved with light colored concrete, inviting workers from the business district to come and relax.
