Enzo Enea and his team win silver at the Giardina Awards 2018 in the category “Special shows, gardens from 200m²“. The project “East Meets West” is Enzo Enea’s idea of a new, inter-cultural home.

The complementary habitat “East Meets West” solidifies Enzo Enea’s impressions of the projects abroad: Harmonic proportions create defined and open spaces. The floral heritage of the dominant cultures shimmer into the present like memories of the past, simultaneously acting as a bridge between East and West.

The pavilion is the reinterpretation of a tea house in the Far East and offers a place of retreat that connects the outside and inside. The concept goes beyond a purely formal approach and successfully combines culture, architecture and history. With its carefully selected materials, „East Meets West” also stands for cross-generational sustainability, guiding Enea‘s principle: “We create values for generations”.
